Our family, have been travelling from the UK to Universal Studios since 1997, and with the introduction of 'Universals Island of Adventure' and 'CityWalk' in recent times, we believe Universal Studios is up there with the best of what the Disney theme parks have to offer. Remember as with all the parks in Orlando we always recommend an early start, especially in the high season, so have a good breakfast and head out early.

How to Find Universal Studios.
Are you a 'first time family visiting Orlando?'…want to know where Universal is located? Well no worries, here's a useful map we think you will find helpful regarding how to find Universal Studios.
If you are travelling along the I-4 use exits 75A or 75B and follow the signs to Universal.
Island of Adventure, Universal Studios and Citywalk are situated near the 'junction' of International Drive and Sand Lake Road, a useful landmark is Wet'n'Wild which is situated on this crossroad.
As with Disney, if you are travelling by car there is an entrance charge to the car parks of $10 dollars (subject to change).
'Free parking after 6pm'.

The car parking area is quite a walk from Universal Studios, so make sure young children and older members of your family use the mobile walkways to ease those legs…mind you after a hard day at the park you will ‘all’ appreciate the mobile walkways on your return to your vehicle. |
If you are staying in a resort hotel in Universal, or near by hotels, free transportation is at your disposable, ask at reception of your preferred accommodation. Depending on how you booked or reserved your holiday, 'Orlando FlexTickets' will be in your price if requested, again ask at point of sale to confirm! Also, if you are purchasing tickets online, don't forget to use this helpful currency converter, to exchange into your own money.
Entering Universal Studios
First, you will pass through CityWalk, quite quiet in the mornings. Wait until you leave and see how it comes to life with music, lights and that party feeling… 'We love it'. Turn right once you reach the lake and cross the bridge to the main entrance passing the world famous Universal sign
