Now personally we are not the Tiger Woods of this world when it comes to playing golf.

We are the typical weekend players from the UK...put into plain words for all golf lovers travelling to Orlando:

In excess of 100 golf courses including Par 3's are available in and around the central area of Florida including Orlando.

Thousands of people alone book Orlando golf packages, golf vacations and holidays each year.

This is a booming business and growing by the day with new complexes and courses being built at a rapid pace.

World championship, PGA, Disney and public courses are all situated in Central Florida, some are non playable due to private membership but the majority are available from expensive to moderate pricing which suits most budgets.

Orlando Golf your preference!

When we started playing, at first we decided to try the par 3's; this was due to heat, humidity and time constraints.

Our favourite is Crystalbrook situated along the east end of the 192 in Kissimmee.

Carts and clubs are available to hire as you can see from photo. (Stuart checking his score card again!!!)

For value...which includes an exclusive private club facility around an 18 hole course, we highly recommend the Windermere Country Club, which is located west of Universal Studios and International drive, a superb Orlando golf course.

You become a member for the day which includes access to the clubs private amenities.

From $30 - $95 dollars, Mon - Fri (Online booking - Subject to change) your fee includes;

The superb Disney courses situated around Lake Buena Vista area of Orlando are expensive, but if you are staying in Disney accommodation, it becomes suited to your budget.

Personally, we have not played these courses yet so we cannot commit, all we can say from other sources is that it is highly recommended.
