Take a Break From The Theme Parks!

downtown-disney-orlando-floridaDowntown Disney is a fun place to visit day or night, with so much to do and see. It's split into three different areas called Downtown Disney Westside, Downtown Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island.

Shop in-store for your favourite Disney character merchandise or take to the skies in a controlled hot air balloon around the Marketplace area. Afterwards grab a bite to eat in places like Cap'n Jacks, Wolfgang Puck and the famous Earl of Sandwich.

Pop into Westside which showcases great restaurants, shops, clubs, 24-screen AMC movie theatre, Planet Hollywood plus the superb Cirque du Soleil show 'La Nouba' and the now famous House of Blues along with Disney Quest.

Pleasure Island which is currently undergoing a huge transformation (Completion 2016) is being transformed into a brand new entertainment venue 'Disney Springs', with Irish pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. A new district to compete with Universal CityWalk located in the North Area of International Drive, which is easy to get to from Int- Drive. I-ride to SeaWorld then number 50 lynx bus.

Transportation:

Available via bus throughout Walt Disney World Resorts and is complimentary for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests.
