It's Shamu Time
At SeaWorld
Adventure Park
Orlando!

entrance-sea-world-orlando-floridaLike on our visits, when you bring your family to SeaWorld Orlando Florida, you will not be disappointed if you are lovers of the ocean and everything that lives above and below the surface.

Killer & Beluga whales, cheeky penguins, shark encounters, dolphins, polar bears, naughty but hilarious sea lions, turtles, manatees, all kinds of fish plus much more, are all on display here in SeaWorld Orlando.

In addition, to keep the thrill seekers happy, the floorless coaster 'Kraken', 'Journey to Atlantis' and 'Wild Artic' are on offer to keep everyone entertained and have a fantastic day out.

Daytime and night time shows will make you laugh, be amazed, and usually make everyone feel good…we know we keep saying this on other pages of our website but as a family, we love this park, also Discovery Cove, which is situated opposite the park.

Now SeaWorld might not be to everyone's taste, so here are a few useful tips we have put together, and if you decide to visit, you might find these helpful to get a feel of the place before you arrive…especially if it's your first time.

Click on the blue hyperlink of your choice and 'bookmark' if required.

Arriving
At
SeaWorld

sea-world-entrance-orlando-floridaThe park is centrally located 10 minutes south of Orlando on the Central Florida Parkway.

Use junction (27A) now 71 on the I-4 if travelling from the south or junction (28) now 72 if you are coming from the north and follow signs to SeaWorld.

If you are located on or around International Drive and you are coming from the north, travel down International Drive until you pass the Orlando Convention Center on your right, from there follow the road until you see the park on your right, look for the sky tower with the American Flag on top, then follow the signs to the entrance.

If you are travelling along International Drive from the south, follow the road until you see the intersection for Central Florida Parkway, take a left here and you will find the park on your right.

Parking charges as we build this page (2007) is…$10.00 dollars per vehicle…these prices are subject to change.

Sunkissed tip;

You will do a large amount of walking here as in most parks in Orlando so remember this park is as popular as Disney and Universal in the High seasons.

The car park is huge, so to ease extra footwear an early start will get you close to the entrance. The park does have disabled parking close to the entrance for easy access.

Trams do run to the entrance but not as quick as other theme parks.

Once Inside
The
Park!

Remember your park map as you enter the park…if you require a Strollers/Pushchairs…make your way over to Guest services just inside of the main entrance, and to the right you will find the 'Stroller shop'. Single strollers start from $10.

shamu-sea-world-orlando-floridaAs with other theme parks, how you want to approach SeaWorld is down to you, your family or group. If you decide to split up ‘two way radios’ or mobiles (cell phones) will come in handy to keep in contact.
