Disney's Blizzard Beach
Walt's #1 Water Park in Orlando!

blizzard-beach-ariel-view-orlando-florida.jpgHi guys...join us on our family adventures to Disney's #1 water park here in Orlando Florida. As with Typhoon Lagoon this water park is a fantastic way to chill out and spend some quality time with your family.

Take a day off away from the theme parks...Re-charge the batteries and be ready for your next adventure to one of the many attractions on offer through out Orlando and surrounding areas.

Thrills & Spills:

At the centre of the park is the notorious Mt Gushmore, from here its downhill all the way, with a choice of white water rafting, flumes, tube runs, bobsledes & waterslides. Give your heart that extra adrenalin push (Not for the faint hearted) & plunge down Summit Plummet - one of the tallest, fastest free-fall speed slides and take the rest of the day to recover relaxing in the Melt Away Bay Pool or our favourite Cross Country Creek.

blizzard-beach-family-orlandoHere we are chilling out on Cross Country Creek. My darling wife would stay here all day, it's her piece of paradise...Saying that, the creek becomes extreamly busy in high seasons.

To explore Blizzard Beach...here's a few useful tips you might find helpful to get a feel of the place before you arrive...especially if it's your first time. Click on the blue hyperlink of your choice and bookmark if required.

"Remember as with all the theme parks & waterparks, we always recommend an early start"

Entering the water park:

blizzard-beach-entrance-orlandoNice and easy to find from the free car park, if you don't have your Disney tickets available, you can purchase day tickets to the left of the main entrance.

Once you enter the park especially in the high season, there's always a rush to find the best seats and sun lounges, so to give you a jump start here's what we advise you to do below...remember to arrive early.

  • blizzard-beach-orlando-floridaFind your seats first before you use the lockers and changing areas...they go quick, you can always return to the lockers and changing areas afterwards.

  • If you are the sun worshippers - place your selves around the Melt Away Bay Pool... Remember the high factor sun cream, this place can Bar-B-Q you on a hot day.

  • Like the shade - Turn left or right at the main bridge and find your selves seats with canopies or a well shaded tree area. Lots of refreshments and eating places on offer along both sides.

  • Young children or Babies - Head over to Tike's Peak, a toddler,s version of Blizzard Beach.

Where to eat?

dining-blizzard-beach-orlandoRemember, you're in a water park, so you will not find as many places to dine as you will find in the main theme parks. We've noticed some families take their own food and drink.

However, don't worry, here's a helpful guide for you to browse through regarding food and drink availability at Disney parks in Orlando. Useful info to know for pre-planning and budget purposes for each day you spend in Disney.
